As Founder and President of DSG, Development Services Group. Steve offers ministry fundraising strategy for donor marketing & communications with an emphasis on domestic and international donor cultivation. During his time as co-Founder and CEO of the Kingdom Capital Group, Steve developed the concept of Impact Philanthropy, a results-oriented approach to giving—and a key aspect of the New Wave of Philanthropy.

Steve grew up and began his career in Southern California serving on staff of a mega-church in Newport Beach. His career continued as a full-service registered financial advisor with Smith Barney and Merrill Lynch. He began serving in the ministry space as Director of Development for the Family Research Council based in Washington, D.C. Growing up with an interest in international development, Whitney has been traveling and learning from the successes and struggles of non-profits since she was 12 years old. Mission trips to Nigeria, Kazakhstan, Mexico, and Czech Republic cemented her passion for working alongside local communities to bring about change.

After majoring in both Public Relations and Sociology at the University of Georgia, she stayed on to also earn a master’s in non-profit management. She loves turning the strategic principles she’s learned into practice, recognizing that every organization is unique and one size does not fit all. She spent 3 years traveling back and forth between Kenya and Texas for an international non-profit, leading their grant writing, communications, capacity building, and program development.

She is enjoying rediscovering her hometown of Atlanta after many years away, and you will often find her drinking coffee, watching Netflix, and trying to speak Swahili (though usually not all at once).

LeAnn Pearson | Director of Ministry Strategy

LeAnn’s breadth of experience ranges from family owned-and operated businesses to 10 years of domestic and international mission work. She began her career in an inner-city ministry located in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia. Seven years of directorial leadership with the ministry brought a wealth of exposure to effective team management, growth development, and successful implementation of strategic planning. Building on her first-hand experience, LeAnn continues to pursue her desire to see the Kingdom of God expand throughout the world by consulting ministries in strategic development and planning, grant writing, and team dynamics.

LeAnn pursues the promise of life and life abundantly. Raised in Montana, LeAnn cherishes her experience from growing up in the beauty of the Rocky Mountains to having the grand opportunity to travel across the world. Atlanta, Georgia has been “home” for the last 16 years, except for the 2 years she lived in Paris, France. Danielle Bradford | Communications Coordinator
540.838.5430 | Danielle@DevelopmentServicesGroup.com

Danielle has journeyed up and down the Appalachian mountains, across the nation, and over oceans in pursuit of her goal to see the kingdom of God come on earth as it is in heaven.

After completing her degree in Pre-Education, Danielle exchanged academic life for the life of a Balkan missionary. For two years she worked alongside a local church in Serbia, praying for the city of Belgrade, equipping leaders in children’s ministry, and discipling young adults coming out of Belgrade’s drug culture. After returning to the States, Danielle continued to pursue her passion for raising up the next generation, serving as Site Director at a local daycare and learning center. Her background in early childhood education has given her a love for simple communication – if you can tell it to a child, you can tell it to an adult.

Danielle and her husband are co-leaders in prayer and worship ministry at their home church in southwest Virginia. In her spare time, you can find Danielle making elaborate feasts for her family, going on “super-dates” with her husband, or re-reading one of her favorite classics (probably for the 20th time)!

Amy Hinson | Communications Coordinator

540.392.6517 | Amy@DevelopmentServicesGroup.com

Whether teaching young Greeks on the sun-soaked shores of Thessaloniki or interceding from Mt. Vodna in Macedonia, Amy entered adulthood in the Orthodox Balkans. Amid a symphony of Greek, African, and Albanian cultures she developed leadership skills, confronted religious barriers, and found a deep love for those eastern nations. She also travelled extensively to Lebanon, Germany, and Sweden for the purpose of igniting hearts with the love of God through worship, prayer, and discipleship. The Holy Spirit, family, and servant-hood shape her desire for city transformation. With this heart, Amy passionately believes in helping others reach their full potential so that the Kingdom is advanced.

Amy graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature and writing from VA Tech where her love of the written language was honed. She has taught creative writing, English as a second language, and written for a UK based blog. As a part of the DSG team, Amy intends to utilize her writing to further other ministries and nonprofits in their God destinies. Perhaps her greatest appetite lies with composing songs, and leading worship at Dwelling Place Christian Fellowship which is settled in the mountains of Christiansburg, VA. She has been part of that body and their leadership team for nearly 14 years.

In her spare time, Amy can be found with a riveting sci-fi book, playing the guitar, or hopping a plane to a distant country.

Nancy Coleman | Project Manager

828.458.1535 | Nancy@DevelopmentServicesGroup.com

Nancy’s desire is to utilize her talents by lending strength and assistance to ministries, nonprofits, and churches in the United States and around the world. With over twenty years of experience in the non-profit sector, she has gained some understanding of its unique needs and challenges. Nancy also carries a keen interest in entrepreneurship and small business, having worked alongside many startups and retail businesses through the North Carolina Main Street Program in Brevard, NC. In the area of Project Management, she has extensive experience, having spent nearly two decades in the event space planning large- and small-scale events, including conferences, workshops, and city-wide festivals.

Driven by a passion to put faith to work and embrace the thrill of a faith lifestyle, Nancy has seen God do the impossible countless times. She has come to know that the heart of the Father is to move on behalf of His people, and to miraculously open doors that seem permanently shut. She is very excited to bring this to the DSG team.

Music has been a huge part of Nancy’s life and calling. She started playing the piano at the age of six. Over the years, she has served on numerous worship teams as instrumentalist, vocalist, and leader. She also finds pleasure writing, and has done so from a young age. Consequently, she spends her free time writing both music and prose.

Nancy understands that relationships are the way of the Kingdom. She believes that prioritizing relationships is the key to the success of any ministry or organization. As a teacher and a homeschool Mom, she has seen this principle work again and again. Nancy and her husband Tim are in relationship with Victory Harvest Church Ministries, Chapel Hill, NC, and serve as ordained pastors and elders.

Becky Turner | Strategist

713.824.5649 | Becky@DevelopmentServicesGroup.com

Before Christ, Becky Turner had made a complete mess of her life – relationally, financially and, especially, spiritually. In 1992, when she came to the end of herself and cried out to God, He graciously swooped in and lifted her out of the pit of her own making and set her feet on a solid Rock.

Since that time, the Lord has done an amazing work as bit by bit and inch-by-inch He has delivered, transformed and renewed Becky to become the woman of God she is today. Becky has been blessed to minister around the world and experience God’s work in the villages of Africa, the high-rise apartments of Moscow as well as the streets of downtown Atlanta and Houston.

Becky graduated Mercer University in Macon, Georgia with a degree in Communications and, for now, God has called Becky to walk in the gift of singleness. She is also the President of KBT Consulting and serves non-profits in strategic planning and development. In addition Becky also serves as the Development Director for The Source for Women and the managing partner at The Barnabas Group. Becky’s heart is to “see the Kingdom of God advanced, especially in the areas of personal financial giving and discipleship,” a passion evident in all she does.
